Description: A portrait of a bearded nobleman, positioned portrait left, however gazing directly at the viewer; dressed in a formal doublet of white and cream featuring a large, embroidered falling ruff, and ballooned sleeves. The sleeves of the doublet are full and segmented, continuing the panned or slashed style of the body. His fashion is reflective of late 16th/17th century Europe.
